Interplay Resolutions was established in 2005 to help
facilitate resolution of litigated disputes before
time, money and emotional costs accrue and to empower
individuals and organizations with skills to constructively
work through conflict in personal and professional
settings.

Kacie Wallace is the Principal of Interplay Resolutions
and offers a unique perspective to the field of conflict
resolution. She brings over nineteen years of experience
as a crisis intervention counselor, arbitrator, negotiator
and mediator. Kacie is licensed by the North Carolina
State Bar and a certified mediator with the North Carolina
Dispute Resolution Commission and the Industrial Commission.
She mediates for the Superior Court Mediated Settlement
Conference Program in North Carolina, the Industrial
Commission, the United States Olympic Committee, as
well as higher education institutions and corporations
across the country. Her areas of expertise include
personal injury, workers’ compensation, contracts,
harassment, employment, business, commercial, criminal
law, law enforcement and sports.
Kacie is a professor of law and supervising attorney
of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic program
at North Carolina Central University School of Law.
She also teaches conflict resolution courses at Duke
University, the Duke-UNC Rotary Center for International
Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution, the North
Carolina Medical Society Leadership College and for
private organizations and groups. Her teaching specialties
include mediation, representation in mediation, communication
and negotiation.
